Everton vs Bournemouth Predictions

Everton can stay up this weekend as long as they match or better the result of both Leeds and Leicester. The Toffees have a two-point lead over City and United heading into the final match of the season, with survival on the horizon. Of course, crazy things happen on the final day, so Sean Dyche will call for cool heads in this one.

Bournemouth have impressed this season, with the Cherries currently sitting in 15th in the table with an eight-point lead over Leicester and the final relegation spot. The Cherries know that there is nothing riding on this match for them other than breaching the 40-point mark this season, so there may be a lack of urgency from the away side in this one.

Leeds vs Tottenham Predictions

Leeds have to win this match and hope that Everton and Leicester are unable to win their games if they are to have any chance of staying up this year. Leeds currently sit in 19th, but they can escape relegation with a win if Everton and Leicester both lose. A draw for Everton means Leeds must win and better their -27 goal difference, with Everton’s standing at -24. A win for Everton sends Leeds down. Ultimately, Leeds need to win and hope other results go their way.

Tottenham have been awful this season and look like they will miss out on any kind of European football next year. The 57 points they have picked up means they are a point behind Aston Villa in seventh, while their two-game losing run shows Spurs are limping towards the finish line. Are Tottenham the ideal side for Leeds to play in their battle to avoid relegation?

Brentford vs Manchester City Predictions

Manchester City

Brentford have been excellent this season. Their exploits have seen the side move into ninth in the table with 56 points, a massive 25 clear of the relegation zone. For a side fancied to struggle. Their 14 wins and 14 draws in 37 matches is very impressive.

Manchester City arrive with the Premier League trophy in their back pocket after a superb campaign. The 89 points they have secured means they are eight clear of Arsenal with a single game to come. While there is nothing riding on this match, City will want to end the season with a win, with big cup finals against Manchester United in the FA Cup and Inter Milan in the Champions League to come.

Arsenal vs Wolves Predictions

Arsenal

Wolves

Arsenal have really fallen off of late, with two defeats in a row seeing their hopes of securing the Premier League title this season ending in ruthless style. At the start of the season, an Arsenal fan would likely have taken a runners-up spot and a berth in the Champions League for next year. However, to have boasted such a lead over City heading into the final stretch, the Gunners and their fans will be disappointed.

Wolves come into this one sitting in 13th in the league as their rejuvenation has allowed them to make it to the final game of the season with no relegation worries on their backs. Currently without a win in two after losing and drawing once, Wanderers may struggle to get anything from this one.

Southampton vs Liverpool Predictions

Southampton

Liverpool

Already-relegated Southampton have the unenviable task of ending their tenure in the Premier League by taking on in-form Liverpool at St Mary’s Stadium. The six wins the Saints have picked up is a disappointing total, and they have tasted defeat in 25 of their matches to this point. It seems like Southampton will fall out of the Premier League with more of a whimper than a bang.

Despite seeing their hopes of snaring an unlikely Champions League spot end due to results for Newcastle and Manchester United in midweek, Liverpool will want to end their season with a win after a fantastic run has seen them fly up the table.
