Premier League Predictions

As the Premier League edges towards the final weekend, there are still so many unanswered questions regarding the title, Champions League football and relegation. Get the best betting tips and predictions for the upcoming round of games.

Manchester City vs Leeds Predictions

Manchester City were forced to fight hard in the first-half of their game against West Ham in midweek, but they ultimately got the job done in a comfortable 3-0 win. This victory saw City move to the top of the table, a point ahead of Arsenal with a game in hand.

Leeds arrive a place above the relegation zone due solely to their slightly superior goal difference to Nottingham Forest. Another defeat could see them drop as low as 19th if both Forest and Everton get results. Their 4-1 loss in their last game against Bournemouth only added to their woes, and this feels like a game they simply will not win.

Wolves vs Aston Villa Predictions

Wolves will have been doing some serious soul searching coming into this match as they look to bounce back from a humiliating 6-0 loss to Brighton in their last game. Currently sitting in 14th with 37 points, Wanderers are seven clear of Forest in 18th, with their place in England's top league likely already secure. A victory here would go a long way to helping them heal the wounds of their thumping last week.

Aston Villa have been very good this season. 16 wins in 34 games is more than Chelsea and Brighton, while they are level on points with Tottenham in sixth. A win here enhances their hopes of ending in the European spots, and they will want to bounce back immediately from their 1-0 loss to Manchester United in their last game.

Liverpool vs Brentford Predictions

Despite seemingly being out of contention for a Champions League spot after a woeful start to the season, Liverpool have managed to keep a glimmer of hope alive in their battle for a top-four spot. The 59 points they have picked up means they are four behind Manchester United having played two more games. The Reds need United to embark on a poor run of form if they are to seriously finish in the top-four. For now, Liverpool need to focus on extending their own impressive five-game winning run.

Brentford arrive for this one on a three-game unbeaten run after drawing with Aston Villa and beating Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. This run has seen the side move into ninth in the table, and they will be eyeing an unlikely spot in the European places come the end of the season. However, with the Reds winning 12 and losing one of their 17 home games, this is a tough assignment for Brentford.

Newcastle vs Arsenal Predictions

Arsenal

Newcastle have been enjoying a phenomenal season so far, and they arrive for this one knowing that they could potentially deliver the knockout punch to Arsenal's title campaign. With a single defeat, five draws and 10 wins in 16 home games this year, even Arsenal will likely struggle on their trip to St James' Park.

Arsenal know they have to win this one. Manchester City sit a point above them with a game in hand, and a loss here coupled with a win for City would see the lead stretch to four points. As great as Arsenal's need for a win is, they have not won any of their last three on the road, drawing with Liverpool and West Ham and losing to City. This could be the match in which Arsenal bow out of the title race.

West Ham vs Manchester United Predictions

West Ham
Draw
Manchester United

West Ham have seen a fairly good run of form make way for three defeats in a row, with their four-point buffer between themselves and the relegation zone looking more tenuous with each passing game. Their 3-0 loss to Manchester City may have seen the Hammers impress defensively in the first 45, but they were ultimately taken apart, while no points are awarded for defending well for a half a game.

Manchester United may have been floundering somewhat of late, but they still find themselves on the cusp of securing Champions League football, while they are also in with a chance of adding the FA Cup to their EFL Cup triumph from earlier in the season. This is not an easy trip by any means, but Manchester United will fancy their chances in this one.
