With two games in hand and a trip to face an inconsistent Fulham on the cards, City know that a win in this one would see them move above Arsenal as their battle to win another league title goes on.

Manchester United vs Aston Villa Predictions

Manchester United were guilty of allowing a two-goal lead to slip against Tottenham in their last game as they failed to move nine-points clear of Spurs in fifth. A win here coupled with a loss for Spurs at Liverpool would see United take a big step towards finally securing their place in the top-four.

Aston Villa have been superb this season, and they are currently sitting in sixth in the league, a point above Liverpool. Their 1-0 win over Fulham in their last match was a decent result considering they were not at their best, and they are within striking distance of Tottenham in fifth. A win in this one would be a major statement for Villa, but they will have to be at their best if they are to down United in this one.

Newcastle United vs Southampton Predictions

Southampton have not been good enough this season, and they are staring down the barrel of a return to the Championship. With just 24 points from their 33 games, the Saints are six points short of Nottingham Forest in 17th and safety, and the belief will already be low in their camp. Their 3-3 draw with Arsenal could have been a turning point for the Saints, but they were downed at home in a 1-0 loss to Bournemouth in the following game, and it feels like defeat in this one could be the final nail in the coffin.
