Euro 2024 is almost here, with the major international tournament promising a summer of incredibly exciting and unpredictable footballing action.

Portugal are the side to back to top Euro 2024 Group F, with the former European champions arriving at the summit of the betting at 1.48 with Pinnacle.

Turkey constitute their biggest rivals to finishing at the top at 5.09, with the Czech Republic (6.97) and Georgia (15.26) next in line.

Portugal's exploits in recent tournaments has not been great, with the side eliminated in the quarter-finals at the 2022 World Cup.

Despite hammering Switzerland 6-1 in their Round of 16 match, they fell to a 1-0 loss against a Morocco side they would have been very confident they could beat. A semi-final against France was on the cards in 2022, but Portugal chocked at the vital moment.

Following their disappointing campaign, Portugal will be aiming to emulate their impressive exploits back in Euro 2016. They were the winners of the entire competition in 2016 as they stunned France in a 1-0 win in the final.

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to feature for Portugal once again, with the leading men's international scorer looking to add to his tally at the competition. At 39-years-old, Ronaldo could play in his last major international tournament, meaning he and his teammates will have an extra incentive this summer.

Of course, all of Turkey, the Czech Republic and Georgia will be keen to stun Portugal, and they have every chance of finishing at the summer. Tournament football can be a fickle game, with teams sometimes finding it tough to break the opposition down.

Will Portugal finish at the top of Group F, or will another side pip them to the summit this summer?
