Scottie Scheffler installed as favourite in Pinnacle Masters betting markets

Jon Rahm secured the trophy in 2023 and he is priced at 14.25 with Pinnacle to repeat the trick and secure the glory in 2024. However, Rahm is not currently at the head of the betting. 

Scottie Scheffler is the current favourite to lift the trophy at 5.07 with Pinnacle. Scheffler is looking to avenge his loss last year as he failed to back up securing the green jacket in 2022. 

Rory McIlroy is next in line at 12.45, while reigning champion Jon Rahm is available at 14.25. The betting then begins to jump for the rest of the candidates, although it is worth noting that only Scheffler is available below 10.00 ahead of the tournament. 

The competition is usually incredibly competitive, with a range of world class golfers all battling for supremacy. The odds will likely sway a lot, with the four day event seeing each golfer facing highs and lows on the course. 

As one of the four men's major golf championships, the Masters is the first major golf tournament of the year. Unlike the other major golf tournaments, the Masters is always held at August National Golf Club, which has only helped to make the tournament and course even more iconic. 

No player has been able to back up their success at the Masters one year with another the next year since Tiger Woods achieved this when he won in 2001 and 2002. Rahm has the chance to emulate Woods and make it two triumphs in a row this year, but he will have his work cut out for him with the full list of golfers looking very strong.
