The French Open is the second Grand Slam event of each tennis year, with the competition at Roland Garros always bringing intense action in the only clay court Slam of the season.

With the competition almost here, bookmaker Pinnacle have made Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic and Jannik Sinner the players to back to beat the entire field at 1.57, but is that the right bet?

The French Open will bring the best players in the men's game together to battle for the trophy. The clay court provides a unique surface in comparison to the Australian Open, Wimbledon and the US Open, with many players struggling to come to terms with the surface.

With this in mind, bookmaker Pinnacle have made any of Alcaraz, Djokovic or Sinner winning the competition more likely than the rest of the field winning.

You can back Alcaraz, Djokovic or Sinner winning the French Open at 1.57, with the rest of the field available at 2.45.

Since Wimbledon in 2022, no player outside of Alcaraz, Djokovic and Sinner has won a Slam. Seven events have come and gone with Djokovic winning four titles, Alcaraz winning twice and Sinner winning the Australian Open in 2024.

Since Nadal won the French Open in 2022, which proved to be the last time a player outside the three has won a Slam, Djokovic has gone onto be the most successful player, and he is the reigning champion at Roland Garros.

Tennis fans will hope that Rafael Nadal will have a chance to secure the French Open title for the final time, but the 37-year-old has been battle a spate of injuries. If Nadal is to play, some feel he is the most likely winner outside of the afore-mentioned three, with the Spaniard winning 14 titles.

Which player do you think will win the 2024 French Open? Will one of Alcaraz, Djokovic or Sinner secure the trophy, or will Nadal et al find a way to stop one of the trio securing the silverware?
