Euro 2024 is on the horizon, with the biggest international competition featuring only European football teams edging ever closer.

With the competition due to start on June 14 as hosts Germany take on Scotland. Ahead of the tournament, the hosts are available at 6.94 with bookmaker Pinnacle, but are they the side to back?

England arrive as the favourites to win Euro 2024 at 4.21 with Pinnacle. This comes after a less than perfect start to 2024, with the side losing 1-0 to Brazil before drawing 2-2 with Belgium. While they did more than enough to beat Belgium, they looked sluggish against Brazil.

Next in line comes France (4.46), Germany (6.94), Spain (9.10) and Portugal (9.10). The betting then begins to stretch, with the likes of Italy, the Netherlands (both 15.17) and Belgium (17.18) the only other sides available at shorter than 20.00.

This competition will be incredibly interesting as it does not seem like one side really has a major edge over the others.

England and France both boast fantastic teams, while the likes of Germany and Spain are still building as teams. Portugal, Italy and the Netherlands are always a threat, while Belgium may have allowed their supposed golden generation to come and go without ever winning anything.

Ultimately, this one could be won by any side. France have made a name for themselves in recent years by winning major competitions, while Italy arrive for this one as reigning champions.

Which side do you think will win Euro 2024? Can England come good on being favourites, or will another side secure the bragging rights this summer?
