The CONMEBOL is edging closer, with the biggest competition in South American football continuing to champion incredibly exciting football.
With the competition almost upon us, Argentina arrive as the favourites to win top the standings at 2.80 with Pinnacle, but are they the side to back?

Pinnacle currently make Argentina the team to back in the 2024 CONMEBOL, with the side priced at 2.80 to lift the trophy.
Brazil are right behind them at 3.25, with Uruguay, Colombia, Mexico and the USA also in contention.
The competition will see favourites Argentina given a test as they take on Peru, Chile and Canada in their group. Meanwhile, Brazil will take on Colombia, Paraguay and Costa Rica in arguably the toughest group at the competition.
Hosts the USA will hope to go deep at the tournament, and they face Uruguay, Panama and Bolivia in their group.
2021's iteration was played in Brazil and saw their arch-rivals Argentina clinch the trophy.
The tournament was impacted due to the Covid-19 pandemic and saw 1- teams split into two groups, a north zone and a south zone. Argentina came out on top in the south zone, winning three times and drawing once, while Brazil topped the north zone, also winning three times and drawing once.
The final saw Angel Di Maria score a 22nd minute goal with this enough to see Argentina beat Brazil in the showpiece final. The two sides have always been huge rivals, and the fact that they met in the final only added to the stakes. To lose by a single goal will have frustrated Brazil massively as their supreme forward line drew a blank on the day.
The competition in 2024 will bring together some of the best sides in world football, and it is a great chance for players to put themselves in the shop window ahead of the new season.
