How To Bet On Nippon Professional Baseball

When you come to betting on Nippon Professional Baseball, you need to ensure you have a working knowledge of the markets you will be faced with. Below, we have rundown a few of the most popular markets that are available to you:

  • Money Lines - Also known as the match winner market, here, bettors will wager on which of the sides they believe will win the match. The favourite will had shorter odds and offer a smaller potential return for the same size wager if you bet on the underdog. However, back the favourite is more likely to see your bet win according to the odds. Meanwhile, the underdog will have longer odds. This means your potential return for the same size stake will be bigger, but the chance of your bet coming in is smaller according to the odds.
  • Totals - This maket allows bettors to wager over/under on the combined number of runs scored. This means that it is irrelevant which side scores the runs, as long as you have correctly chosen whether there will be over/under a specific amount of runs, then your bet will win.
  • Run Lines - Here, you will bet on the final margin of victory. This market usually factors in the quality of the two teams, meaning the odds will be evens or close to it for both sides.
  • Futures - These markets will allow you to bet on season long betting markets. The most popular one tends to be the overall winner, with this market asking bettors to wager on the side they think will triumph at the end of the season.
